GAINER, DONNELLY & DESROCHES APPOINTS BARRY CORBITT TO THE POSITION OF PRINCIPAL
HOUSTON, TX — August 7, 2007 - Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches LLP, Houston's oldest local CPA firm has appointed Barry Corbitt to the position of Principal.
With over thirty years in public accounting and a particular expertise in real estate tax, Corbitt's industry experience encompasses areas of financial and tax services including federal and state tax compliance for business entities, mergers and acquisitions, business restructuring and income tax accounting for business entities. Additionally, Corbitt served as Board Member and Chairman of the Tax Committee for the National Association of Real Estate Companies for over a decade.
Corbitt previously worked as a Principal in the tax department of Gainer, Donnelly & Desroches and will return later this month to resume his prior role.
