George A. Hawkins, CPA

George A. Hawkins joined the Firm in 1989 and was admitted as a Partner in 1999 and is currently Managing Partner of the firm. In addition to his specialization in income tax planning and compliance, George is also the partner in charge of the estate and trust taxation department. His client base includes individuals and corporate entities involved in oil and gas exploration and production, industrial fabrication, real estate management, retail food service, and the legal, medical and dental professions. Prior to joining the firm, George earned a BS degree in geology from Northern Arizona University and worked for ten years in the oil and gas industry.

George is currently a member of several professional organizations including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants, as well as the Houston Chapter of CPA's, and the Houston Estate and Financial Forum. Additionally, in prior years, George has served as Board Member and Treasurer of DiverseWorks, Inc., a non-profit arts organization.
